The 'Blog of the Week' for the week of Aug 30th to Sept 5th 2009 is 'Gas and Oil'. This is a slick blog from Greg Murphy out of St. John's and is one that you shouldn't let slip on by. With a non-crude simplistic blog design, George discusses gas and oil issues in our great province and with 8 years of research into petroleum, the discussions are informative.

Blog of the Week : 08/23 - 08/29 2009

The 'Blog of the Week' for the week of Aug 23rd to Aug 29th 2009 is 'NL Running'; a blog with a title that speaks for itself. With the Tele 10 only a few weeks gone by, I figured this was a great blog to feature this time around (though yes, it probably would have a better choice for the actual weekend of the big race) so that I could help highlight the running culture in the province. From what I hear, it's a pretty popular past time (or life time) for many in the province and today's featured blog helps connect those who are part of the craze or want to be, while being able to inform the non running community of their happeneings.

I cut it close, but I didn't miss the 'Blog of the Week' for the week of Aug 9th to Aug 15th 2009. The selection this time around is 'Lloyds Newfoundland Photos'. So Sorry

Well, it appears that this Blog of the Week initiative is during into a bi-weekly thing. It's not intentional, believe me. As explained earlier, the summer seems to be making it tough to get this done on a Sunday. This particular weekend, I was away visiting family. Perhaps it's time to pick a different day of the week to get 'er done. Then again, I know that when fall and winter come, Sunday will be the opportune day once again.

My best advice is to bare with me!
