The 'Blog of the Week' for the week of Sept 27th to Oct 3rd 2009 is 'Rock Recipes', which is perhaps the only blog listed which will actually make your mouth water upon visiting.  This space from Barry C. Parsons  out of St. John's, who says he is a 'lifelong good obsessive', feature recipes (with pictures, mm, mmm) of traditional Newfoundland foods plus some of  his own creations mixed throughout.

The blog features a collection of posts which display her beautiful artwork and Jeanatte states in her about me section that here "first love is dry media, but oils and watercolours find their way into my hands as well".  There is some very lovely art found here and for that, this blog is well worth a visit.

The 'Blog of the Week' for the week of Sept 6th to Sept 12th 2009 is 'Kayaking Dreaming'; a blog from Stan Mac Kenzie out of St. John's, Newfoundland.  Stan states in his profile that 'Kayaking is my soul' and this blog is surely evident of that. His personal space features posts about his passion for kayaking and also for photography which for him come hand and hand with his main passion.  It's a lovely little blog and well worth the visit!
